He was in Kenya during the weekend and held his first concert in Nairobi dubbed ‘Free Your Mind Concert’ that had been long anticipated for.
The artist who has been labelled the ladies’ man opened up about his music career in an interview with Kiss FM recently.
He revealed that he has always been a music fan and he started singing in Church. The artist was born in Jamaica and later moved Florida. He said “I feel that every kid in the Caribbean has that one grandmother who doesn't really care about what you do throughout the week, as long as you go to church.”

At the age of 12, Kranium then travelled to Florida to broaden his skills. There he spent time with his uncle, a former dancehall star known as Screwdriver who recorded controversial Jamaican hits during the 1980s.
After acquiring proficiency the ‘Never Used to know” heavy hitter moved to New York where he started attending club parties to gain further experience and find a way into music.
When it comes to music, Kranium said he takes it very serious because it is what he has always wanted to do.
“My music journey has not been easy. I can be big today, another man will be big in the next 10 or so years. When you know you are doing good music, you always take your time. Like my songs always take like a year to become a hit, which I feel is good because it takes time to sink in their mind and understand what I am telling them in the song. So music is like business, where you take risks,” he concluded.
